More and more children between the ages of 8 and 14 are taking advantage of free public transportation. Currently, between those who are using the citizen card and those who have opted for the Avanza children's pass, there are 27,458 children registered, compared to 12,396 who had joined the initiative at the end of July. The measure is part of a call for funding from the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility aimed at minors in this age group, and the municipal government estimates that around 40,000 children could benefit, meaning that 68.6% of potential users would already be enjoying the free service.
